We appreciate your use of Media Link Player, and we regret to inform you that we will end distribution and support for it as from March 30, 2018(Friday) 17:00(JST).

As of the above date and time, the application will be deleted from the Appstore and will not be able to be downloaded. We will also stop our technical support for this application.
However, customers who have downloaded the application will be able to use it perpetually. Please notice that updating the iOS version of the terminal currently in use or changing the terminal to a terminal equipped with a newer iOS version may make the application unusable.

Media Link Player(MLPlayer) can play many digital content files which are stored in DLNA/UPnP certified servers, and can control DLNA certified renders and some UPnP compatible renders.

- The video cant be played on the TV using Apples docking station and media cable at this time.
- This application cant play terrestrial digital media contents at this time.
- Digital Media Server function need to synchronize iPod/Photo library.
You may take a while to synchronize if there are a lot of contents.

Pros and cons of Media Link Player app for iPhone and iPad

Media Link Player app good for

Im sitting in my backyard listening to music streaming from my PC to my Xbox which is connected to my receiver and outdoor speakers. This tool allows me to browse and change songs from my backyard instead of going back into the living room each time I want to change songs! Interface is user-friendly but could be better looking. I look forward to a full blown iPad app.

I stream straight from a network drive connected to my Cisco e3000 router to my Appletv2 connected to my receiver Alac, mp3 and video files. Works A1

Some bad moments

認識して録画タイトルの一覧まで表示できているのに、再生できないコンテンツとしてはじかれました。尚、ＬｉｔｅはＩｐａｄ２の画面サイズに対応していたのに、これはiphon や touch のサイズでした。

Waste of my $5. Fails to stream every single format of video from my media server. And yes, I made sure they were the correct format, the application is simply a waste of your money and I wish I could have my money back! I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS APPLICATION. WASTE OF MONEY.

Keep leaving a review and they keep deleting it. I guess they dont like negative reviews. Added support for local media but crashes when loading a pictures. Very unstable app sometimes have trouble starting. First time I ran the app, I had to reboot my iPad to get it to run. For $5 I would expect quality and features. It take over an hour to sync ~1000 music on my iPhone and 1:45 to sync ~3500 songs on my iPad. If there was reviews for this app I would not have bought it. But I think they try to delete any negative reviews. Next time I will not buy an app with zero reviews. Im beginning to think Alpha system is shady. I will make a copy and repost if its removed again. 3rd time to review for this app.

I bought this app to view my Mpeg-4 videos that reside on a Iomega network drive. I also have Serviio load on the personal computer. Both drives appear and update on my Touch within about 30 seconds or less showing the 1400 videos and 6500 Mp3s. A few of the videos show a warning triangle and will not play, guessing that could be a bug fix. But atleast 95% of the videos play just fine via WiFi. I wanted to give this app 5 stars but held off do to a few hickups. I hope to change the rating to 5 stars in the near future...! Keep up the great work! I wonder if in the future, could this App also down load the network movies to the Touch via WiFi? That would allow me to play video on a Tv via AppleTV when traveling..... Something to think about....
